About Christina Dixon

CHRISTINA DIXON brings contagious enthusiasm to whatever she does. As a family life educator and counselor she helps singles and couples build, maintain, and restore healthy relationships through support groups, seminars, workshops, and keynotes at conferences, churches, rehabilitation centers, prisons, and community events. Christina serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors of the Marriage Resource Center. A graduate of Great Lakes Christian College, Christina is also a Certified Biblical Counselor through Christian Research and Development.


An active member of the United Christian Women’s Ministries (UCWM), she has served as local church president [New Hope Progressive Church of Christ (Holiness), USA], District president for churches in Michigan and Ohio, as well as Northern Diocese secretary. A licensed missionary, in June 2012, she was selected as the UCWM Northern Diocese Woman of the Year.


As a publisher and writing coach she has spent over a decade equipping writers as they go from manuscript to marketplace. In January 2001 she released her first book entitled, How to Respect an Irresponsible Man. She is co-author of the award winning book, HELP! for Your Leadership (2003) both by PriorityONE Publications where she is Founder and President. A  contributing writer in the Wisdom and Grace Devotional Bible for Young Women of Color (2002), by Nia Publishing, and African American Church Leadership (2013) by Kregel Publishing, she enjoyed five years as inspirational columnist for WOW! Women of the Word e-magazine. She also serves as Vice President of the American Christian Writers-Metro Detroit Scribes for Christ.



Skilled at speaking to both secular and faith-based organizations; Christina has inspired people from all walks of life for over 20 years. No matter the hat she wears, Christina can be found encouraging others to be all that God designed them to be, while challenging them to overcome the obstacles they face and inspiring them to take the next step.


Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, Christina and her husband, Elder Michael Dixon, live in Detroit, MI.
