About Freddie Lindsay-Payne
Mrs. Lindsay has 35 years of experience as a private career school owner and provider of vocational, employability and life skills training opportunities to persons desiring to enter into our employment society.
She is a member of Warren Avenue Missionary Baptist Church and has served her church and the surrounding community for over 50 years. She is directly involved in the Christian Education area of study and biblical concentration at Warren Avenue and district associations both locally and nationally.
Mrs. Lindsay is the former Dean of the Metropolitan District Congress of Christian Education. She has served in the capacity of Dean for the Prospect Baptist District Congress of Christian Education; in July, 2012, she was elected president of the Prospect Baptist District Congress of Christian Education. She is a Certified Dean through the Christian Education Department of Accreditation and Credentials, Sunday School Publishing Board, Nashville, Tennessee; June, 2005 she joined the faculty of the National Baptist Congress and taught in Houston, TX. Her managerial, professional and technical skills embrace people and organizations in helping to move projects and people forward.
Mrs. Lindsay has been a member of many organizations which include: Board member of the Michigan Association of Career Schools (MACS); board member of George Washington Carver Camp Association; past Chair of the Board of the High School of Commerce/East Commerce Alumni Association; past Chair of the Trustee Board and Chair of the Building Fund of Warren Avenue. Mrs. Lindsay has received numerous certificates, awards and commendations from public and private entities.
Mrs. Lindsay is married to Mr. Leroy E. Lindsay and has three adult children: Ronnelle Genora , Charles Maurice and one stepson Stephon Lindsay who resides in Gadston, AL. She has one very talented grandson Christian Floyd Payne who attends Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.
Mrs. Lindsay contributes all that God has allowed her to be to her earthly parents, Deacon & Mrs. Garrett (Girlie) Hunt, her spiritual Mom, Mrs. Martha Brown, with whom she co-authors “Martha! Martha!, The Third Spiritual Adventure” and for whom she has much love and devotion because she demonstrated what God requires.
