Gwendolyn Singleterry is a woman whose faith in God has seen her through over 70 years of life. As a young girl her love for her mother, coupled with ingenuity and an excellent work ethic gained her clientele at the early age of nine. Through faith in God, her entrepreneurial spirit has never failed her. 
 

A former model, Gwendolyn has been a hair stylist most of her life. Determined to be an example of God-fearing obedience to young women, Mama Gwen shares wisdom and encouragement, along with the virtues of patience and forgiveness with her “angels” at every opportunity. 

A testament to God’s faithfulness to His children, even when they don’t obey Him, Gwendolyn’s first book, Prospering Against Adversity with Patience and Forgiveness, chronicles her life and the lessons she learned along the way. Gwendolyn is currently a member of Detroit World Outreach Christian Center Church in Redford, Michigan where Bishop B.A. Gibert is senior pastor.

The mother of one daughter, Gwendolyn lives in Southfield, Michigan.
