About Lakita Patton
Filled with joy over her conversion to life in Jesus Christ, LaKita Patton, shares her testimony of deliverance at every opportunity. Growing up in a family where witchcraft, sexual, physical, and mental abuse was common, LaKita, was the second eldest of eight children. Despite the adult presence of her mother, aunts, uncles and cousins she was left with the full responsibility to take care of three younger siblings. Molested at the tender age of four-years-old by an uncle, she was manipulated by her own grandmother into believing that she was the guilty one. After years of abuse, mental torment began. Dogged by satanic voices which threatened to kill her or force upon her the same fate as her father, who suffered from mental illness, LaKita was unable to escape those in her home that consistently abused her physically and verbally. It’s no surprise that the incest and abuse caused LaKita to become very angry, hateful, and promiscuous.
Filled with self-hatred after the loss of her innocence, by the age of fourteen she was pregnant with her first child in a relationship that led to still more physical and mental abuse. Sexual impurity soon became lesbianism and pornography. A stripper at twenty-one years old, LaKita sold her body for money and became an alcoholic. Eventually anxiety and depression, was diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic. As the years of physical, emotional, and mental bondage went by LaKita came close to executing a plan to kill her own children and commit suicide.
It has been four years since that horrific moment. Today, now clothed with the sound mind provided in Christ, LaKita is free! As she shares her experiences others are filled with wonder at the power of God’s truth and mercy and lives are changed. God has called LaKita to preach deliverance to the captives, to show those who are in bondage and paralyzed in fear to overcome the lies of the devil by renewing your mind in the Word of Jesus Christ. Prophetess Lakita is a member of Saints Liberty Life Step Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Andrew Jenkins. Lakita Patton resides in Pontiac MI. She is the mother of six children one who is deceased.
