About LaShawndra Green

Elder Shawn Green was born and raised in Detroit, MI. She was the second of four children born to Barbara Benson.  Although, she grew up in a household full of the presence of the LORD, her teen years were spent trying to run away from that presence.  It wasn’t until her early twenties that she stopped running and accepted Christ as her personal Savior and became a member Agape Fellowship of the Savior Church, under the direction of Pastors Willie and Sandra Fountain.

In January of 1999, Elder Green was awakened early in the morning to pray, it was during that prayer time that she heard the Lord’s voice say, “I have called you to preach the gospel.” After much prayer and direction, from her Pastor, he believed that she was ready to preach her first sermon.  That was in March of 1999.  In September of the same year, Elder Green became a licensed minister.

Currently, Elder Green serves as the director of the Agape Fellowship Children’s Ministry, is an Armor Bearer for Pastor Sandra Fountain. She is also a member of the Praise and Worship Team.

As if her schedule was not full enough, Elder Green is also a recent graduate of the Detroit Police Academy of Female Ministers, and is an Intercessor for the City of Detroit, under the direction of Chief Ella Bulling-Comings.  Her other affiliations include serving on the board of the Daughters of Deborah Women in Ministry, and as Director of Deliverance, and as President for the Troy/Renaissance Council for SBC Pioneers, a volunteer 501C3 organization.

Elder Green is married to Elder Bryan Green, a licensed and ordained minister of Agape Fellowship of the Savior Church. They have two lovely daughters; Britney and Samantha.  Elder  Green holds a BA degree in Business Management and is currently employed by AT&T, where she is a Circuit Manager. She also has an entrepreneurial spirit, and is President and CEO of Esteem Beauty and Cosmetic Products, LLC. She believes that women can empower themselves by having confidence and high self-esteem. Her slogan is; “every woman should feel beautiful.”
