LaVern is a woman who has a heartbeat to help God’s people walk out of bondage and into freedom. LaVern is a Certified Biblical Counselor and has a degree in psychology.

A teacher, counselor, writer and speaker, she brings the Word of God alive through visual illustrations and practical demonstrations.

A speaker at home, locally, and globally, LaVern travels as a missionary to Africa. She is also the past director of Global Projects for Hope, Help and Healing, a faith based community service organization that serves to empower and assist minorities who experience economical, mental health and social problems.

Her heartbeat is doing the work of the ministry and preparing God’s people to walk in their calling. “God has given us all that we need to finish the work and finish well.”
