Nadine Flowers grew up in a small suburb of Detroit, Michigan where she has many friends and family. She is a graduate of William Tyndale College in Farmington Hills, Michigan with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Nadine Flowers is a mother of two daughters and a first time grandmother of a granddaughter, Mikayla. She was a member of Pentecostal Temple located in Inkster, Michigan for many years and later, joined Christian Tabernacle Church of Southfield, Michigan. She is currently a member of Faith 4 Life Church in Round Rock, Texas where Bishop Keith and Pastor Deborah Butler are pastors.

She believes God places gifts in each one of us and aspires to walk in the gifts and calling God has placed on her life. She desires to develop those gifts to be used as God intended and obey His calling giving Him the glory. She feels God has called her especially to minister and encourage women and studied to be a Biblical Counselor through the Christian Research Development Program. She was also a member of Christian Women for Change, a ministry inspired and led by the Holy Spirit, called to minister to others and change lives based on the Word of God.

Nadine loves God and has been writing poetry for many years starting as a hobby inspired by her children and family members. As time went on she began to write tributes for friends and church members as inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Writing a book was never her intention, but she was encouraged to put her poems in the form of a book as others read and listened to her poetry. As a result, her first book, “In Him I Live, Treasures From My Heart” was published in 2008 which is a collection of her writings throughout the years including the tributes to friends, family and church. She is retired and now resides in Texas where she works faithfully in her church and community. She enjoys traveling, shopping and spending time with family.
