About Sabrina D. Black
Dr. Sabrina D. Black, M.A., L.L.P.C., C.A.C. is president and founder of Global Projects for Hope, Help, and Healing, a community service operation formed to empower and assist underserved, impoverished individuals outside the United States. She also serves as the clinical director of Abundant Life Counseling Center, an outpatient mental health facility, which emphasizes spiritual values.
Black is a limited licensed counselor and certified biblical counselor with over twenty-five years of experience in individual, family, and group counseling. She has expertise in the fields of gambling addiction, sexual addiction, sexual abuse, relational problems due to substance abuse, issues related to clergy and ministry leaders, marital conflicts and communication, boundaries, spiritual growth, stress, anxiety, burnout, and anger management.
She is the author, coauthor, or editor of several books including Counseling for Seemingly Impossible Problems (2007), Prone to Wonder (2002), Can Two Walk Together? (2002), and Help! For Your Leadership (2003). She is an adjunct faculty member at Ashland Theological Seminary, Cornerstone University, and a regional instructor for Christian Research and Development, She is president of the National biblical Counselors Association and an active member of numerous professional organizations and associations.
Sabrina has extensive experience as an overseas missionary and has traveled to Romania, the West Indies, and several countries in Africa.
She lives in Detroit, Michigan with her husband Warren José Black.
