Reverend Tonjia Williams is a humble servant of the Lord.  She loves God and the Word of God.   Under the unction of the Holy Ghost she loves to preach and teach the Word.  It is the bread of life.  She is strong in her faith with God. In 1989 the Lord begin to allow her to hear him calling her to the place of ministry.  Initially, she ran from the call saying "Not Me Lord" however, she never ran from her assignments.  In June of 2000 the Lord graciously had a sweet conversation with her that further changed the course of her life.  He put it ever so sweetly, "Because you tell my story so passionately, I want you to preach my Word".  As the Lord tenderly deposited, imparted and unfolded knowledge she knew it was her day of acceptance and confirmation of his Will for her life.  It is the passion of the Lord that drives her and she has been on fire for the Lord ever since.

In December of 2007 she was among ten of the first women trailblazer preachers to be licensed and ordained in her church.  It was a powerful moving experience filled with the sweet presence of the Lord.   
Coming from a great lineage of men and women of God she is no stranger to trials, opposition  and tribulations.  She understands the battle is not hers.  That she is a vessel on a mission and that the Lord is the captain.  She knows what it is like to be miss-judged, misunderstood, persecuted, mistreated, lied on and overlooked.  She is very in tuned and familiar with the power of endurance, long suffering and travailing. She knows what it means to travail and wait on the Lord.  She goes in the trenches on behalf of God’s people and the lost without hesitation.
But she also knows of the blessings of the Lord and his power, mercy and grace. Her boldness comes from knowing that she serves an awesome, mighty, powerful King of Kings and Lord of Lords who is more than able!  Her fire is ignited when the manifestation of the Word is in operation in the lives of people.  She  operates in the spiritual gifts of the Lord for the building of the Kingdom of God.  She has served in many capacities in the service of the Lord. 

She is a caring and loving person towards people.  Always willing to share a kind word or a warm smile of understanding.  She has a heart for the people.  She serves her church and communities within various organizations.  Educated in Wayne and Washtenaw Counties her most valuable and notable education is life itself through her walk with the Lord.  Some of her interests are wedding and event planning, floral and jewelry designing, traveling, writing, entertaining, songwriting, singing, cooking, photography and videography.  She has a great sense of humor and is a good listener.       

She views life as a puzzle.  There are no instructions on how to put them together (how the world lives), but for the believer it is different.  Thank God for the Word of instructions (how the believer lives).  The picture on the box is complete (God’s view).  Your view when you open the box (gift of life) the pieces are separate, some are attached, some you have to turn over (stages and changes in your life). You then have to chose a method on how to put the pieces together (how you live, saved or unsaved).  It takes time to put the pieces together (the journey).  After it is complete you have a beautiful piece of work that came from separate pieces that jointly fit together to produce a wonderful everlasting creation.  The master’s creation.  There is a method to the madness.  Oh to be born again!  The Lord is the author and finisher of our faith. Walk in faith, not by sight then we may live by Hebrews 13:6 in unity, “So, we may boldly say: "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear.  What can man do to me?”
